Share An Opportunity (SAO) Philippines Inc. was selected to implement the project entitled, “Championing Children’s Rights in Rehabilitation through Government–Civil Society–Children Engagement or CHARGE”. Project CHARGE is a 2-year project that aims to ensure our participation in governance process and improve government accountability to the rights of children.
SAO Philippines is a champion for us–children. SAO Philippines believes that we must be empowered to participate in decisions that will affect our lives. They are also passionate in advocating for our rights and caring for our needs. Save the Children together with SAO Philippines focus this implementation strategy for the Project CHARGE in the province of Iloilo in the municipalities of Concepcion and San Dionisio.
Project CHARGE intends stronger governance and coordination systems that actively engage children and civil society to increase respect, protection, and fulfillment of children’s rights in emergency contexts, rehabilitation and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) processes.
